Bethany Nickel

Bethany is excited to be a part of the House community after having been introduced in the summer of 2010 as a House Support intern. She met many incredible youth and learned a lot of valuable lessons, including, but not limited to, how to stretch a meal to feed 12 instead of 4 people, what the best answer to every question is (there’s no way of knowing) and how to play a mean game of Dutch Blitz. Bethany was born and raised in Richmond and did one year at TWU. Since switching to UBC to complete her education, she has spent much more time in the city of Vancouver where she peruses used bookstores, scopes out new coffee shops and attends Tenth Church. She recently completed her B.A., majoring in French and minoring in English Language, and is excited to see what God has in store next.
